TANGUY ROUSSEL

Tanguy Roussel makes a sound research work through the recovery and assembly of various objects and instruments. His compositions and arrangements are mosaics of materials, textures, timbres that come into resonance with their broadcasting space: immersive installations that provide a listening environment. These facilities are designed according to the same process as the sound: it is marriage material , glued , assembled, stacked, which tend to form a unit while sublimating the only materials. This is the idea that “the absolute mosaic shine pure brilliance of the fragment” (Dällenbach).
