Siobhan Coen uses the primary colours of digital communication to examine modes of information filtering in the post-information age. Inspired by Brion Gysin’s dream machine and cut-up technique she constructs evidence-based fictions from the spoken words of influential figures to create new narratives that explore the interplay of form and content, and the relationships between visual perception, unconscious desire, attention, seduction, delusion and control.
